13 Months:

Brook is so busy there is nothing she wont try.

She loves to run and be chased and she is learning how to bounce or dance.

Brook has 8 teeth now and is starting to use them more and more on things she is not suppose to bite.

Sh loves to pick things up and carry them even though they are way to heavy.

Her favorite place to go is Murdoch's so she can see her Grandma Keeling and just run around the whole store.

I made her a sand box for her first B-Day and she loves playing in it she also loves going down the slides she has.

Her favorite things to eat are biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs, chicken and hot dogs.

She is such a easy happy baby and she keeps me laughing all day. She is learning so much and I love watching her explore.

She scares Grandpa and Grandma Seibert all the time cause she loves to climb on the coffee table and turn the lights on and off and she always seems to do the most daring things in front of them.

We are getting to the stage now where she wants to do everything her self so if she in in something (like the pantry) if you just tell her to shut the door then she comes out and shuts the door then she cant get back in but if you take her out she will cry.

She is starting to want to use her spoon herself so that has been fun at times.

She is just busy and I love every minute of it.

Brook fell a sleep in her swing while we were outside playing. I guess she was really tired but I just thought that you guys might like to see it she looks drunk. lol

First Fishing Trip on the Mesa for Brook:

She loved fishing she would get so excited when we would catch a fish, she could see them splashing in the water and then when we got them to the bank she got even more excited and she just had to touch them, and kiss them. As for now she is not afarid of them and I really hope it stays that way because we love to fish.

This is her learning how to arch her back and try to roll over in her seat. So now we have to buckle her into everything.

Here is Brook rolling over for the first time I saw her do it all by her self then of course she would not do it again so I was teasing her with paper to get her to do it and it worked.

Ok now this one is of Brook trying to blow air through her lips to make a spiting sound and we have been working on this for about a month now she whet from kind of just talking to actually pushing spit out to this. But it is silly cause she loves to do this all the time now.

This X-Mas we changed plans a few times but I think it turned out wonderfuly. We had a xmas dinner at my mom and dads house and the Caddy's were here and my aunt Marie from Hawaii was here so it was really nice. Jimmy and Brook and I got a Wii for xmas and we are loving it.

Brook loves to take naps in her swing but she is a prow at getting her arm out of her blankets, at least when she does get it out she is happy.

Carson loves Brook and he is so gentle with her. Carson loves to hold Brooks had and he really loves to hold her, Brook does not seem to mind.

Madisyn just love holding Brook but Brook is not so sure about Madisyn.

I was trying to get some pictures of Brook so everyone can see how round she is getting. When I lay her down the pictures just don't turn out so I tried a basket and they are not so bad, at least you can see her big belly and cheeks.

SOOO HAPPY

Brook has been smiling ever since her cousin Daniel talked to her, but now she smiles a lot more. I thought I would try and share it with you but when I hold the camera she just stares at it so I will have to try more when Jimmy gets home.

Halloween

Ok so we thought Brook was getting big and she is but not big enough for a halloween costume, so we just found a cute shirt and I made the bow for her hat. We got to go trick-or-treating for a while with soem friends but Brook sleep the whole time mabye next year she will fit in a costume and be able to walk.

All Better

OK for everyone who knew that Brook had to have surgery, I just wanted to let you all know that she is doing fine. We went to Denver on Tuesday to see the Doctors and then on Wednesday she had surgery. We had to stay the night at the hospital so they could watch her for 2 hours just in case something went wrong but nothing did and we got home around 6:00 PM Thursday and she is a happy girl, you can't even see that they did anything. It is kind of weird because I did not think before the surgery that she was having a hard time breathing but now that she had the surgery it is like she is learning all over again and because stuff is flowing through her tear-duct now she does a lot of sneezing and funny breathing and even gurgling ( on snot), but other than that she is fine. Thanks for all your concerns and prayers.

I finally convinced Jimmy that we needed some with him and he gave in but we then really struggled with getting him to take off his shirt but he did and that one is my favorite. Here soon we will have pics of Brook she was born 9-3-09 and she weighed 6 lbs 14 oz and is 17inches long.
